Tasting Note by MasterOfMalt.com
The nose is creamy and of caramel, crème anglaise and chocolate raisins, quite dry with notes of mixed sweet spices. The mouth feel is very thick as you chew through honeyed raisins. There is a little sweet beeswax, melted vanilla ice cream as the sherry weaves gently through the palate, a very buttery expression. Much more of that honey in the creamy finish, it has a slight oaky dryness and a dusting of cocoa powder.

Nose: Stewed apple/quince,then a light touch of raisin, cheese and a hint of sulphur. Mango and honeycomb underneath. Water brings out a fungal note.
Palate: Slick sweet start with a walnutty core, liquorice then earth. Chewy with a mix of big softfruits and earthy tannins giving a subtle grip.
Finish: Long.
Comment: Very well integrated. A real improvement.

Tasting Notes By Martine Nouet
Nose: Intense. Vanilla hits the nose. Apple flan. Waffles. Some exotic fruit. Guava. Combawa. In the back,a winey note.
Palate: Crisp with a malty mellowness. Rich fruity flavours. A touch of whitepepper.
Finish: Long,spicy. White chocolate
Comment: Obviously from the same family as some others on taste. Does not have their lusciousness. Oak had left a stronger print. A sherry finish.
