    Tasting Notes By Dave Broom:
Nose: Rounded, deep and mossy. Aromatic, toasty oak tangerine zest almost floral smokiness:incense, scented candles. Tantalising mix of the fragrant, the sweet and the dry. Best neat.
Palate: Spicy with plenty of ginger and nutmeg. Good length, dry smoke, then heather. Mellow, yet firm enough to add a layer of complexity.
    Finish: Crisp,long.
Comment: A drier expression of HP from the norm and all the more fascinating for that.Recommended.

    Tasting Notes By Martine Nouet
Nose: Phenolic and marine. Boat tar. Wet rope. Then sweeter notes. Vanilla waffles. On time a floral note. Orange blossom? Some citrus (lemon sorbet).
Palate: Smooth. Sweet and malty with a distinctive iodinic note; Salty feel. Fizzy. Dry spices.
Finish: Long, dry with an oaky sherried edge.
Comment: A fresh and dry whisky. Gradual delivery on the nose. The palate is more in one piece. But a beautiful one!
