Bollinger is made from first-run juice only, and the majority of vineyards used have Premier and Grand Cru status, resulting in a full-bodied Champagne of great class. Delightful pale gold in colour, the mousse is light and persistent. The Bollinger style is distinctive for its full-bodied toasty character derived from a high proportion of Pinot Noir and the inclusion of base wine that has been matured in oak.

To the eye:
A golden colour, distinctive of black grape varieties. Very fine bubbles.

A beautiful aromatic complexity. Ripe fruit and spicy aromas.
Hints of roasted apples, apple compote and peaches
To the palate:
A subtle combination of structure, length and vivacity. Bubbles like velvet.
Pear, brioche and spicy aromas, notes of fresh walnut.
